From the car park on the village green 350 m along the paved road to the caves (tour 400 m, 40 min, 92 steps, 10 °C); then along the blue-marked trail (Třesín nature trail) through a lane from the green and a field track to the Mlýnský potok stream, to the artificial Čertův most (Devil's Bridge) from the Liechtenstein era, the little Podkova cave (50 m, bring a torch, closed in winter) and the collapsed Rytířská síň (Knights' Hall) with Ionic columns in the stream bed (1.2 km from the green); back the same way; an all-terrain pushchair manages only the paved road to the caves

Tips

  • Baterkiáda torchlight event in autumn – On 27, 29 and 30 October 2026 the caves are toured by torchlight only, and from 24 Oct to 1 Nov the treasure-hunt game Po stopách Bočkova pokladu is on – bring your children their own torches; they come in handy in the little Podkova cave too.
  • By train right to the caves – The Mladeč jeskyně halt (750 m) is on the branch line from Litovel předměstí (only a few trains a day); from the cottage, though, the train via Olomouc and Červenka is impractical – by car it's an hour.
  • Opening hours – in October 9:00–15:00 (closing time = last entry); outside the season check at mladec.caves.cz
  • Admission – SJČR (Czech Cave Administration) price list 2026 (caves.cz)
