From CHA-LU-PA to the info centre (1 km; buy the map for 50 Kč), a circular route of approx. 1.5 km on surfaced roads and park paths (only ~100 m on a footpath through a tree-lined avenue – a pushchair can be pushed through), children complete tasks and crack codes up to the final puzzle; back to CHA-LU-PA

Tips

• Caution – accessible year-round (page updated 28 Aug 2026); the IC information centre is closed for renovation from 15 Oct 2026 (11:30) to 29 Oct 2026, open again from 30 Oct; a selection of the IC's stock (maps) is meanwhile available at Kavárna Tančírna (Fri–Sun 10–18); the Loučenský poklad 2026 treasure hunt (Zámecké dobrodružství, map 60 Kč at the IC or at weekends at Tančírna) runs until approximately the end of October 2026
• For school-age children – The ciphers and tasks are pitched at ages 7–10; read and solve them together with younger children, older ones can manage on their own.
• Pushchair gets through – The route follows paved and park paths, with only 100 m on a footpath in the avenue – a pushchair is no problem.
• Start at the café – At weekends the information centre is closed – get the map and start at the Kavárna Tančírna café instead (in spring and autumn open only at weekends and in good weather; current hours on its Facebook page), where there is a playground and ice cream after the puzzle solving.
• Hand in the puzzle answer – Take the solved puzzle to the information centre – you'll be entered into a prize draw.
• Opening hours – Loučná information centre (house no. 57, ground floor of the municipal office): Mon, Wed 8:00–11:30 and 12:30–17:00; Tue, Thu, Fri 8:00–11:30 and 12:30–15:00; Sat, Sun, public holidays closed; Kavárna Tančírna café: daily in the main season (2025: 10–18), in spring and autumn only at weekends and in good weather – current hours on the café's Facebook page
• Admission – Luštěnka puzzle-trail map 50 Kč (Loučná nad Desnou info centre or Kavárna Tančírna); once you solve the puzzle you enter a prize draw at the info centre (no instant reward)
