Lesní bar (Forest Bar) Horní Lipová

From the lay-by car park at the end of Horní Lipová (by the railway viaduct) along the asphalt forest road with wooden “Lesní bar” signposts: 400 m on the flat and then 1.5 km of gentle climbing along the stream to the self-service bar (755 m) – sausages on the fire pit, drinks chilled in the stream, you pay into an honesty box. Back the same way downhill; asphalt all the way, pushchairs and balance bikes can manage it. From Horní Lipová railway station it is 0.5 km more (along the green-marked trail to the car park).

Tips

• Where the bar really is – The hut stands by a forest tarmac road 2 km west of Horní Lipová station (GPS 50.2250, 17.0555), not in the village – follow the wooden signposts. Bring coins for the honesty box; the sausages in the cool bag sometimes run out.
• Smrk without a view – The summit of Smrk is forested, so don't expect a panorama – the nice views are on the way from Ramzová (Brousek, Králický Sněžník). If you just want an easy day, skip Smrk and take the cycle route from Ramzová via Pod Klínem straight to the bar.
• Opening hours – non-stop, year-round; self-service, you pay into the cash box (trust;
