Summer Areál Kouty: six-seater chairlift to Medvědí hora (1 095 m), bike park with 4 trails, the longest scooter descent in the Czech Republic (17 km from the upper reservoir of Dlouhé stráně), the Rysí skála nature trail, the U Medvěda lookout tower and the Balanc park

Tips

• Caution – chairlift prices valid from 2 April 2026; point tickets for the bike park are valid only in the current season; ActiveClub card −10 %
• Scooters only at weekends – The rental at the upper reservoir operates only on Saturday and Sunday 11–15:30 and takes cash only – on weekdays scooters are hired only at Helia Sport down in the valley.
• Chairlift cheaper online – A return ticket bought on kouty.eskipass.cz no later than the day before costs 495 Kč instead of 540; a pushchair or bike is carried for 50 Kč.
• With small children – At the top there is the free U Medvěda lookout tower and the Rysí skála nature trail (2 km), at the bottom the Balanc park (100 Kč, accompanying adults free) – leave the bike park and the 17 km descent to older kids.
• Beginners take the blue trail – In the bike park start on the blue Uhlířská (7 km flow trail); for the orange and red trails a full-suspension bike from the Helia Sport rental is a good idea (booking 583 213 145).
• Opening hours – summer 2026: 30 May–27 Sep daily 9:00–17:00 – at weekends, during holidays and on public holidays the chairlift departs at 9:00, 9:30, then every hour 10–12 and 12:30–17; weekdays in June and September every 30 min; downhill always every 30 min; spring/autumn weekends and public holidays only 9–17 (autumn 2026: 9–11 Oct, 17–18 Oct, 24–25 Oct, 28 Oct–1 Nov); ticket office Sat–Sun 8:30–17; scooters at the upper reservoir Sat–Sun 11:00–15:30 only (in bad weather only at Helia Sport); Helia Sport (bikes, scooters) Sat–Sun 8:30–16:30, in October weekends and public holidays only, closed in November

• Chairlift – Doppelmayr, 6-seater with a loading conveyor, length 2,000 m (slope length 1,933 m), 610 → 1,095 m (485 m elevation gain), ride 6 min 48 s, 3,200 people/h; barrier-free, bike hooks; online tickets kouty.eskipass.cz
• Restrictions – scooters: no reservation needed, ID required, cash only; watch out for hikers, buses and cars on the descent; scooters and bikes on tarmac only – cycling and skating are banned on the loop around the upper reservoir (kudyznudy.cz: from 2026 cyclists are kept off the loop too); Balanc park and bike park according to the operating rules at kouty.cz/provozni-rad/
