Karlova Studánka and Rolandův kámen
From the car park along the colonnade to the Libuše spa house (drinking pavilion, geological exhibition of stones) and along the blue-marked spa loop through the forest to the Rolandův kámen viewpoint (937 m, a 35 m high gneiss rock with a wooden cross and a platform – views of Praděd and the spa); back to the spa along the loop. The rock is reached by stairs – leave the pushchair below; the yellow loop through the spa park (2.2 km, 30 m) is better for pushchairs.
Blue-marked loop to Rolandův kámen (3.9 km) and from the Hubert trail junction (Hubertus restaurant, chapel of St Hubert) along the Bílá Opava nature trail upstream: through the forest past the first cascades and rapids to the Na paloučku trail junction (972 m, 2 km, +160 m), where the wild section of the gorge with ladders and footbridges begins; return the same way to Karlova Studánka. The whole trail up to Barborka is described in the separate trip Bílá Opava.
