Faunapark Horní Lipová

From Lipová Lázně railway station 1.6 km along the road (pushchair OK) to the Faunapark, 1.5–2 h among the animals, a playground and refreshments; back the same way to the train (by car you can drive right up to the park)

Tips

• Petting animals – Goats, sheep, a pony; macaws fly freely overhead. Some animals can be stroked only with a keeper – ask at the ticket office.
• Pushchair – The grounds have step-free paths; from Lipová Lázně station it's a 1.6 km walk along the road, and by car you can drive right up to the park.
• In the rain – Covered seating and a restaurant on site; a short visit is manageable even in showers, but the animals are outdoors.
• Lesní bar – 2 km from the zoo, a tarmac road begins towards the self-service Lesní bar in Horní Lipová – a popular full-day combination with a return by train from Horní Lipová.
• Adopt an animal – Children can adopt an animal (from 500 Kč/year) – they receive a thank-you certificate with a photo and their name on the zoo website.
• Season – April–October (in 2026 from Good Friday, 3 April; in October only Friday–Sunday and the autumn school holidays).
• Opening hours – season April–October; in 2026 open from Good Friday 3 Apr; main season (data from previous years) daily 12–18, organised groups Mon–Fri 9–11 by appointment; October 2026 Fri–Sun only and the autumn holidays 28–31 Oct 11–16 (open on 1 Nov) – the website publishes the month-by-month schedule as an image

• Parking – small car park at the zoo; municipal car park approx. 300 m towards Jeseník by the petrol station; Hotel Helios car park next to the zoo 50 Kč/day
• Restrictions – dogs are not allowed in the grounds (kennel at the ticket office); children under 15 only with an adult; do not feed the animals (only by arrangement with the staff)
