Čarovný les magic forest and the Věra Čáslavská Trail
From the car park at Sanatorka (Reissova street) 0.5 km to the Čarovný les trail junction and along the fairy-tale path (fairy Tulinka, elf Kokeš, wizard Dobroděj, Sedmivous, Eagle with a fish, Teddy bear, Frog) 0.5 km to the forest playground with a robbers' cottage, a tower, a giant anthill and a fire pit; back the same way
From the playground on to the ponds in the Mokřady wetlands below Městské skály (Věra Čáslavská's forest gym – a log balance beam, a branch pull-up bar, 2 panels with exercises), from there along the red local loop and the yellow-marked trail steeply up Kokeš hill (518 m, an overgrown rock on the southern summit, view into the Desná valley) and via the Tulinka trail junction back to the car park

Tips
- Caution – The Stezka Věry Čáslavské trail was ceremonially opened on 15 May 2026 (10 years after the gymnast's death) – prepared by the Šumperk town information centre and co-funded by the Olomouc Region; it lies on the blue-marked trail about 700 m from the Tulinka junction towards Rejchartice (GPS 49.992, 16.978)
- Pushchair – The fairytale path (0.5 km) and the way to the small lakes are passable with an all-terrain pushchair; for Kokeš leave the pushchair at home.
- Campfire sausages – By the forest playground there's a fire pit – bring sausages; meanwhile the children can try the robbers' hut and the tower.
- Exercise like Věra – At the small lakes in the Mokřady wetlands try the log balance beam and the branch bar following Jaromír Švejdík's panels – a reminder of Čáslavská's training in Šumperk before Mexico 1968.
- Continuing to the rocks – Fitter families can continue from Mokřady along the green-marked trail to the Městské skály viewpoint (+3 km and 220 m of ascent one way).
- Season – year-round (best April–October).
- Opening hours – freely accessible year-round
- Admission – free
- Parking – car park by the Sanatorka memorial (former TB sanatorium) on Reissova street
